Device collection, made easier.
Need help getting your device to us? CoreRevive may be able to arrange personal collection in Gauteng after 4:00pm, depending on your location and availability.
Personal collection by arrangement
We currently offer personal collection by prior arrangement rather than standard courier pickup. Availability depends on your suburb, the device and scheduling.
Laptops & desktops
Request collection for supported laptop and desktop assessments. Include the make, model and a brief description of the fault.
Gaming consoles
PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo devices can be discussed when arranging your assessment and handover.
GPUs & ASIC miners
Ask us about collection for graphics cards and supported mining hardware. Size, weight and location may affect arrangements.
Before your device is collected
Please back up important data where possible, remove loose accessories unless they are needed for diagnosis, and package your device securely. Confirm the agreed collection time and handover details with CoreRevive before the collection takes place.
How personal collection works
Collection is arranged individually. A repair is never started without your approval of the quotation.
Book an assessment
Message us with your device type, make, model, fault and suburb. Ask for personal collection when you book.
Confirm arrangements
We check the location and availability. Collection may be arranged after 4:00pm; wait for our confirmation before handover.
Assessment & quotation
We assess the device and explain the findings, available options and costs. No repair work begins until you approve.
Repair, testing & return
If approved, the agreed work is completed and the device is tested. We then contact you to arrange return or handover.
Frequently asked questions
Not sure whether collection can be arranged for your area? Contact us before making plans.
Which areas in Gauteng do you cover?
Collection is considered across Gauteng, subject to your exact suburb, distance, scheduling and availability. Send us your suburb or area so we can confirm whether arrangements are possible.
Is courier pickup available?
Standard courier pickup and delivery is not currently offered as a regular service. Personal collection may be arranged after 4:00pm by prior request, subject to location and availability.
How much does collection cost?
Any applicable collection or return charge will be discussed and confirmed with you before arrangements are finalised. Do not assume collection is free.
Can any device be collected?
Collection may be possible for laptops, desktops, gaming consoles, GPUs and ASIC miners. Size, weight, condition and location can affect whether collection can be arranged.
How long will the assessment and repair take?
Timing depends on the device, fault, parts availability and the work required. We will provide an estimated timeframe after assessment; no fixed turnaround is guaranteed before diagnosis.
Will you repair my device as soon as it is collected?
No. Collection is for assessment and does not authorise repair work. We first assess the device, provide a quotation and proceed only after you approve it.
What if I do not approve the quotation?
We will discuss the return or handover arrangements with you. Any agreed collection or return charges remain payable where applicable, even if you decline the repair.
Are repairs covered by a warranty?
Qualifying repairs are covered by a six-month warranty on applicable parts and workmanship, subject to the relevant warranty terms and exclusions. The warranty does not make collection or transport charges free.
